Old clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. Remember that you will most likely get tagged out. Even though paintballs are water soluble, they could still stain. Also, I suggest that you wear dark clothes. This will help you blend in with the background. Find a flea market in the Area you can pick up cheap used Army clothes, Or visit an Army/Navy store. Find clothes with long sleeves and long pants . T-shirts and shorts are something I would not recommend. Even though paintballs are traveling at safe speeds, unprotected skin can be torn. The long sleeve and pants can and will offer you some protection from getting hit. . Keep in mind of the weather conditions. Bring extra clothes to keep in the car incase it decides to rain. For the feet, I suggest something comfortable yet can support your ankles. Boots or sneakers. Again, something that you do not mind getting dirty. . Another item is a Neck Guard made of neoprene it wraps around your neck and lessons the impact of the paintball hit to that area. Turtlenecks seem to work well too. Then there is that certain Male protection a athletic Cup. I do suggest it. Nothing macho about getting hit in the groin and having to go the hospital because you did not take the right precautions. Eat a healthy breakfast before heading out to the field. Water or Gatorade should be the choice of drink. Energy Drinks are Bad and will only make you thirsty and dehydrate faster. A spray Bottle of Soapy water is good to clean up equipment and yourself. Paper Towels are a Must During the Summer months it is highly advisable to bring Insect Repellent Bring a good Attitude REMEMBER its not life or death its only a game ! |
